Job description, responsibilities & requirements

  • Designs various AB tests, multivariate tests and works with organization’s stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data
  • Produces innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from large high-dimensional datasets
  • Expert level understanding of theory of statistics and its application (percentiles, median, variance, standard deviations, outliers, distributions, box- plots etc.)
  • Expertise in analytics algorithm such as Apriori, Decision Trees algorithm, Naive Bayes algorithm, clustering algorithm, Neural Network algorithm, Linear Regression algorithm, Random forest
  • Applies strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, Data modelling and simulations to recognize patterns
  • Identifies opportunities, pose business questions and make valuable discoveries leading to new product development, enhancements and prototype
  • development. Familiar with Big data ecosystem (Hadoop, Cassandra & Spark)
  • Develops increasing complex models & monitors performance of developed models and makes recommendations to increase accuracy
  • Documents implementation details choice of models, rationale and reasoning
  • Has strong expertise in statistical computation and numerical packages in tools such as R, Spark, Mahout, RapidMiner, Alteryx, Knime, and Python
  • Significant experience with analyzing data from different sources and visualizing tools such as KNIME, Spotfire, Tableau etc.
  • Should be aware of basic information security awareness protocols, software security in the SDLC lifecycle, and OWASP Top 10 concepts
